What’s The Unbiased Coin?

Crypto is both a goldmine and a cesspool.

A goldmine because blockchain technology allows us to rebuild our financial system on entirely new foundations. Where all-powerful banks or the state do not control our wealth. Where anyone with a smartphone can participate in the global economy, even those who the traditional financial system have abandoned.

A cesspool because we’ve never seen a more fertile ground for scams. Ponzi schemes, pump-and-dump scams, or simply billion-dollar thefts where crypto exchange owners vanish with all customer assets.

I started with crypto in 2021, and boy, was it challenging to filter out the signal from the noise.

Influencers promoting pump and dump schemes. Content creators selling worthless trading courses, bots, and buy-sell signals. I had to do a ton of work to see the true value of the crypto ecosystem and orient myself among the myriad of coins.

This newsletter is going to be the resource I wish I had. Here, I’ll write about:

• The underlying technology, to help you tone down the hype and see the actual value.

• Quantitative analysis of the crypto market, both tutorials and case studies. I’ll dissect my trades, even the fuck-ups. Especially the fuck-ups.

Right now, crypto is a digital Wild West. In a couple of years, it will be transformed into the digital Silicon Valley.
